Maret 04, 2018

Hi again!
Today I want to share my thoughts about the hydrating toner that I am currently using, which is Whamisa Organic Flowers Toner Deep Rich. FYI I have normal to dry skin and slightly dehydrated, therefore I need hydrating product that keep my skin hydrated and moist. When my skin is severely dehydrated, it is prone to whiteheads and acne so putting loads of hydration is a must in my skincare routine.

If you don't know about this brand, this is actually a product that has been highly curated by Glow Recipe. The toner, which the one that I am using right now, is one of their best seller product their website. Whamisa is considered as a 'premium' organic brand from Korea. According to the website,  Whamisa utilizes a natural fermentation process to distill and preserve the potency of select natural ingredients. In addition, the brand uses wide range of botanical extracts such as flowers, seeds, and fruits as their main ingredients. Fyi, fermented skincare is now being a huge hit in Korea. Fermented skincare is known to give you quick and amazing result. There are tons of skincare brands that specialise in fermented ingredients and Whamisa is one of them. So, let's jump to the review!

Packaging:

Frosted glass bottle that makes it look luxurious. I love the flower patterns are beautiful and definitely pleasing the eyes! Even the box itself is pretty! However, the bottle is quite heavy and yes, it's small when I first opened it!

Texture and Scent:

It has a bouncy and cushiony texture. It is definitely a thick toner but somehow it is lightweight and absorbs easily to the skin. Scent wise it has a pretty strong floral scent from the natural origin fragrance (they use a handful of fermented flower extracts in this product). Some people may disturb by its strong scent.

After patting it dry on skin.

Experience:
I use this as my hydrating toner after I use my exfoliating toner. Whenever my skin feels dull and dry, I always layer it up to 3-4 layers and it is enough to make my skin feels plum and healthy again. This toner is known to be one of the best toner to do 7 skin method. I once used this on a long flight and it does save my skin from the extreme dryness.

Verdict:
I really like this product! It really hydrates my skin and makes it supple and bouncy. On my first try I was quite shock by the scent because it's pretty strong. This kind of scent can make you a bit dizzy so I have warned you, especially people who is sensitive with fragrance. I actually don't really care about product that contains fragrance, but this one is just... strong enough to make me a bit concern. Anyway, after a few use I already get used to the scent so it is fine now. Back to to the performance, I guess this is a very good hydrating toner. My skin is dehydrated and it drinks this product really well. If you live ina tropical country like me, 3-4 layers of this is already good to make your skin looks bouncy and well-hydrated throughout the day.  Overall I love this product but the price is just.... I know it's a good product but it is also a splurge at the same time. Guess I will not repurchase this in a short time tho. Ingredient wise of course it is worth it, this has good range of ingredients. What I like beside it has fermented and organic ingredients, that the product is free from paraben, synthetic and chemical preservatives. It is also environment friendly and against animal testing! The PH is 4,5, which perfect for our skin PH.
I do recommend this to every skin types tho, but I don't recommend this to people who have sensitive skin as it has a quite strong scent.

Have you ever try this product? Or are you interested with this brand? share with me!
